Youth Advisory Council
The Youth Advisory Council gives young people a real seat at the table.
Their voices help Rock the Walls understand what young people are seeing, hearing and experiencing in their relationships, families, schools, online spaces and communities. Their insight helps us build resources, programs and initiatives that speak to the next generation with relevance and impact.
Robin Dear Towner
Actress / Humanitarian / Storyteller
Robin Dear Towner is an actress, humanitarian, and storyteller whose commitment to service began at an early age. At just 12 years old, she traveled to Haiti following the devastating earthquake, becoming one of the youngest volunteers on the ground. There, she taught musical theater in local schools and returned multiple times to mentor and support children through the arts.
Robin has remained dedicated to humanitarian causes, volunteering with Glide Memorial Church, supporting homelessness initiatives in Oakland, and serving communities through Third Wave Volunteers. Following the Los Angeles wildfires, she helped distribute clothing, household essentials, and support resources to families who lost their homes. She also participated in COVID-19 relief efforts serving the Navajo Nation.
As an actress, Robin is known for her work in Yellowstone and Landman, with multiple film projects scheduled for release this year. She is currently co-writing a historical Western drama exploring the overlooked contributions of Black cowboys and the diverse communities who helped shape the American West. Robin is also active in equine rescue and rehabilitation, helping care for her rescue mare, Millie Cyrus, and Millie's foal, Bowie.
Robin is passionate about empowering young women to overcome adversity, discover their voice, and create meaningful change.
